LearnPlayer is a local video player designed for language learning. This page explains what data is processed when you use the app.
1) Core Function
LearnPlayer allows you to browse and play video files stored on your device. No account registration or login is required.
2) Data Collection
We do not intentionally collect personal identity information such as your name, phone number, or email for account purposes.
The app uses Firebase to improve reliability and performance. Firebase may process technical information such as device details, app instance identifiers, diagnostics/crash logs, and network metadata (including IP-related information), according to Google policies.
3) Permissions
To play local videos, LearnPlayer may request media/storage permissions
(e.g., READ_MEDIA_VIDEO or READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE,
depending on Android version). This access is used only to read and play local files.
4) Data Sharing
We do not upload your local video content to developer-owned servers.
5) Children’s Privacy
LearnPlayer is not specifically directed to children under 13. If we become aware of improper data handling involving children, we will take prompt corrective action.
